Supporting the local community since 1991

West Orchards shopping center has over the years supported many local causes, playing a vital part in the local community. We welcome throughout the year local charities, groups and causes to our centre in a bid to help support them through awareness days and fundrasing activies. Our target is to help these worthy causes raise £5,000 in 2017 in our centre.

Zoë's Place - OUR CHARITY OF THE YEAR

We are proud to introduce our Charity of the year Zoë's Place.

Zoë's Place Baby Hospices are the only baby specific Hospitals within the UK which makes their work even more vital. Zoë's Place aims to provide a ‘home from home’ environment for babies and infants who have life limiting or life threatening conditions. Offering palliative care, respite and end of life care free of charge they have helped hundreds of families in a time of need. Zoë's place in Coventry opened its doors to families in 2011; it can take up to six infants at one time and they really do rely on support and generosity of the public to ensure they keep the doors open.

Zoë is the Greek word meaning “gift of life” and at Zoë's place they know that life is precious no matter how long it lasts; this is why West Orchards are honoured to be supporting such a valuable charity.
